Major cause of cardiovascular disease

This project was conducted to decipher the root cause of cardiovascular disease. The dataset contained about 70,000 participants with the age range of 30 to 70. In the course of this analysis it was discovered that the major cause of cardiovascular disease was high cholesterol level

Machine learning project on car auction sales

This project is a machine learning one which aims to predict whether a car bought in an auction has a possibility of being returned. Cars that are bought and returned in an auction causes loss to the seller due to extra logistic expenses. This algorithm predicts if a car that is bought in an auction would be returned based on its properties.

Doc-Here

With respect to presentation skills, innovative thinking and conforming to design thinking process, I and my team pitched an idea on how to reduce hospital wait time with use of a booking system called Doc-here. Doc-here is a booking web app where patients can book an appointment before going to the hospital in order to reduce hospital wait time.

Novustack Project

Novustack is an ed-tech startup passionate about building the innovation ecosystem. We want to train quality applicants that can challenge and contribute to the innovation ecosystem. To do this, we first have to attract those quality applicants. This project is to help us identify the details of the kind of talents that are first interested in the projects and those who ultimately get into the fellowship.

Audio genre classification

Have you ever wondered how playlists are created in music applications that fit a particular genre of music? When one listens to a song he/she can always place it in a category but placing a lot songs in its category is very cumbersome, so to that end, we train a deep learning model to learn the pattern and predict which genre the song belongs to.

Supply chain modelling

With production of goods, there is always a challenge of how to move a product from its point of production to the customers or consumers. This project was conducted to create a model which would find the least cost of transportation by the routes given.

Roles Assignment

In jobs where people who can accomplish the jobs are available, factors considered could be the price for each individual to complete the job, the individual’s job completion rate for that job, the skill level of the individual for that job or whether or not the individual is fit for the specified job. So to that end, this project is conducted to assign jobs to someone with the same skill set and trying to minimize the total cost of hiring the workers.

Retention Rates

In an organization run mostly by volunteers, the level of retention of those volunteers is important as with a lower retention of the volunteers there is lower operation in the organization. This project shows the analysis of retention rate of the organization YMI (Young mothers' incorporation) whose objective is to take care of the needs of young mothers.

Review of Lemon Balm

Lemon balm analysis was done on the reviews of lemon balm on amazon products containing lemon balm. The aim of the analysis was to find out how effective lemon balm is.
